"Cover's Blown" is a collection of some of my favorite songs, from many of my favorite artists. Yes, I secretly love Gwen Stefani. I have been heavily influenced by Slowdive since my first exposure to them. My musical tastes are based in the libraries of Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac that my parents exposed me to. And since then, I've fallen in love with Girls (no pun intended), Pixies, The Smiths, Beck, Twin Peaks, DIIV, and Phoenix. Some of these covers are pretty straightforward. A lot of them are different takes on classic versions. There are some weird arrangements, medleys, songs that you would never expect to find together but that somehow complement each other remarkably. This album has literally taken years - I started recording "Lost Cause" last August - but it represents me pretty well musically, and I'm proud of it. I hope (desperately) that you enjoy it.

Moose Tears is the project of San Diego-based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Theo Stone. Since picking up the guitar at 4 and starting to write music, he has spent his free time writing originals and recording covers.
